Google Wallet, despite not generating revenue, maintained a robust download count, starting the quarter with approximately 319K downloads and closing with around 317K. The app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, starting at 4.17M and reaching a peak of about 5.08M before slightly dipping to 4.92M by the end of December.
T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş.’s Ziraat Mobile app also had no revenue to report but saw a significant spike in downloads, from around 121K to a high of 195K in early December, before ending the quarter with 108K. The app's active user base started strong at 5.46M, peaked at 5.84M, and ended the year with 5.66M weekly active users.
Flowe S.p.A. Società Benefit’s FLOWE – Pay better, be better app experienced a surge in downloads, from 17K to an impressive 117K in late November, before concluding with 41K. The active users count followed a similar pattern, starting at around 50K, peaking at 233K, and then settling at 133K.
Poste Italiane S.p.A.’s BancoPosta saw a gradual increase in downloads over the quarter, beginning with 34K and reaching a high of 60K in early December, and finishing the period with about 50K downloads. The app’s weekly active users experienced a steady rise from 574K to a high of 662K before ending at 591K.
Lastly, the Sparkasse Ihre mobile Filiale app, offered by Star Finanz GmbH, showed a decrease in downloads from 41K to 31K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users displayed a slight decline, starting at 3.7M, dipping to 3.29M, and concluding the quarter with a rebound to 3.58M users.
